A scholarship can change the course of a young person's life. Even a small amount of financial support can make a difference to students – helping to meet the day-to-day costs of higher education and living. Even more importantly, scholarships can provide the recipient with the knowledge that someone believes in them. Scholarships create a special relationship between donors, the University and students.
USQ offers donors the opportunity to support students through existing scholarship funds or through the creation of their own, named scholarship in consultation with USQ. A scholarship can honour a respected colleague, dear friend or family member, commemorate a lost loved one or recognise the community impact provided by a business.
For the creation of named scholarships USQ asks for a minimum gift commitment of $4,000 each year for a minimum of 4 years.
USQ also offers support for major donors seeking to create an endowment fund to deliver perpetual support to students through scholarships.
If you would like to fund a scholarship or find out more, please contact USQ Advancement.
