- Career Mentoring Program allow students to enhance their skill set, network and learn about their chosen industry under the guidance of an experienced industry professional.
- Making Career Choices program aims to improve the access, participation and success of students from communities under-represented in higher education. Build Your Future
Build Your Future is a self-paced resource on career planning which begins by focusing on what a career actually is, how the workforce operates and what skills you need to be successful.
Understanding who you are, your values, strengths, interests and your career influences will help you make an informed decision about your study and career pathways.
The modules are self-paced and you can log in as many times as you need to access the information, videos and activities.
The Journey of Toast demonstrates a range of careers or roles that exist in any one given moment. This moment is designed to include roles from the pasture to the plate. It's a great career conversation starter for people considering growth or change and can build the awareness of the plethora of opportunities available.
A variety of career images are available to be used to support individuals to explore a range of careers and to begin discussions around what individuals may wish to do, rather than to “be”. Using these images can support individuals to have a greater knowledge of the number of roles, jobs and careers that exist. If a role is noted that the individual does not know, they can research the jobs and widen their knowledge.
