How to pay

There are a number of ways that you can pay your accommodation fees. The most convenient methods for both yourself and the University are on-line payment through the Residential Colleges Portal, or by BPay (please refer to invoices and statements for biller code and reference). The University also accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express.


Payment by mail (cheque, money order, bank draft or credit card) with the payee noted as The University of Southern Queensland may be made to:

To pay via a credit card, phone the USQ Residential Colleges on +61 7 4631 2450 and provide:

  • student name
  • student number
  • amount to be paid
  • type of credit card
  • cardholders name
  • credit card number and expiry date.

In person

Payment in person may be made at the Residential Colleges Administration office at McGregor College by cash, cheque, money order, credit card or EFTPOS. Cashier hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm (AEST), Monday - Friday.

Direct debit

Payment by direct debit (direct deposit, Internet banking or telegraphic transfer) may be made to the following account:

Please contact the Residential Colleges Finance Officer to advise that the payment has been made by direct debit.


Centrelink offers a service to students whereby deductions may be made from an entitlement/allowance direct to the University.

When completing the Centrepay deduction form, enter the University's Centrepay Reference Number (CRN) 555 051 481S in Part C question four.
