Step 1. Apply for accommodation

Complete your application online. If you experience problems during the application process, please email to accommodation.officer@usq.edu.au. To streamline the application process, please have the following ready:

Visacard or MasterCard for payment of the AUD50 application fee (note: the application fee is non-refundable). Applications will not be processed until the application fee is received.

Passport sized photo of yourself. This is used by Residential Colleges staff during your stay.

Once complete, you will receive an email confirming completion of the application, along with login details. We recommend keeping this email for future reference.

Step 2. Offer of accommodation

Offers of accommodation are emailed from early November. The offer email will include important information relating to your fees, the rental period and the due date for acceptance of your offer.

If you receive an offer for a catered room, you will be able to choose either the 7 meals, 14 meals or 21 meals package.

Step 3. Acceptance of offer

Once you receive an offer of accommodation, you will need to complete and return the Residential Colleges Agreement Form and acceptance deposit by the due date.  

Payment of fees is deemed acceptance of the Rules of Residency (PDF 252KB).

Step 4. Start packing!

Once your agreement form is returned and acceptance deposit paid, it's time to start packing!  Information on your orientation program, Resident Student Club newsletter and check-in details will be emailed to you.
