About the Presenter

Annie originally trained as an actor before moving into a teaching position early in her career. She conducts a number of community workshops, including a position as a regular guest judge for both international and national flash fiction and short story competitions. Annie also speaks at key events on the subjects of reclaiming femininity, parenting and living the conscious, authentic life. With a number of writing, editing and columnist work under her belt, Annie pursues her love of fiction both in more traditional methods and through online publishing through her blog and having several of her works published with mobile phone publisher Esther Books. She draws on her times teaching, corporate work and growing up in the Australian Bush to bring her life experience to her eclectic style of workshops and writing.
