Stimulating languages and learning - global perspectives and community engagement
Take this opportunity to join like-minded individuals with a strong commitment to improving languages education, teaching, researching, making connections and acknowledging the current strengths and innovative practice at the local and global level. Take the opportunity to gain new perspectives and skills from exciting keynote speakers; explore the role and importance of community engagement in enhancing languages learning and community literacy in diverse multilingual contexts.
There will be a focus on the themes of language learning, education, policy and planning; innovations in languages education pedagogies; digital communication technologies and multimedia and multimodal texts, and issues of language and literacy in multilingual, culturally and linguistically diverse communities. We encourage your contributions on these and related topics, including second language acquisition, language maintenance and shift; supporting bilingual families; cross-disciplinary approaches; internationalisation of education; service learning and cultural exchange.
The conference will be held in the Auditorium at USQ Ipswich.
