Co-requisite: BIO3206 and BIO3207 and BIO3215

Synopsis

This course provides students with an opportunity obtain the fundamental practical in Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology and Cell and Molecular Biology skills necessary to support their activity in a working pathology laboratory and/or research setting. Candidates will augment their specialised subject knowledge and academic skills with practical skills. This course will allow students to improve their learning by the application of the theoretical concepts and skills theories and graduate skills developed into a laboratory setting. It is envisaged that the work experience will enhance the student's post-graduation employment prospects.
