This workshop-based course is designed to support you in making significant progress on a book-length writing project. The course will take you from the very beginning - from the germ of an idea - to the completion of a significant chunk of your book. The course is taught through a series of writing workshops during which you will gain personalised feedback on your work in progress from the teaching team, as well as from your peers. The workshop is designed to build on the skills you already have as a writer, deepening and broadening your understanding of writing as a professional practice.

You will engage with a range of other writers through reading interviews, reading works in progress, and conducting your own author interview.

Most of all, you will write. And write some more. The backbone of this workshop is the requirement to submit a weekly `quota' of writing pages. Alongside this core commitment, you will engage in stimulating and challenging discussions about what it means to be a writer: about the challenges and opportunities you and your peers are facing as your work develops.
