Requisites

Pre-requisite: SVY1901 and SVY1102 and (SVY1104 or GIS1402 or URP1001) or Students must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: GDNS or MENS

Other requisites

Recommended prior or concurrent study: SVY2301 and SVY2106 (for surveying major students), GIS1401 and GIS1402 (for GIS major students), URP1001 and GIS1401 (for urban and regional planning major students).

Synopsis

The collection and presentation of surveying and spatial information requires the understanding of a range of surveying equipment and software suitable to the needs of surveyors, GIS and urban planners. Students will have the opportunity to select and complete a variety of workshops that best reflect their needs for practical instruction in their program.
