Requisites

Pre-requisite: Students must be enrolled in one of the following Programs: GCCO or GDCN or MCCO or PDEV

Synopsis

The course targets the application of knowledge, evaluation of dispositional characteristics and career planning. Students will be placed for the semester in either a supervision-focused or university teaching-focused practicum. In collaboration with the placement supervisor, students will develop placement objectives, engage in weekly online discussions and submit evidence of supervision/teaching competencies. Finally, students will learn about career pathways in their chosen domain and will develop a written plan to work towards the selected career or further educational goals.
