Synopsis

This course will extend undergraduate and experiential knowledge and will encompass contemporary evidenced based wound care practices directed at differing wound presentations. The course is designed and pitched to different levels of wound care management depending on the current health care worker role/s, to enable students to develop their capacity within those roles. Content within the course will augment the clinician's ability to critically reflect on current wound care practices, identify practices inconsistent with the evidence base for good wound management, and enact change within the clinical context.
