Pre-requisite: PSY2020

Synopsis

This course builds upon personality-relevant sections of PSY1010 and methodology and statistics-relevant sections of both PSY1020. In addition, knowledge of Social Processes of Behaviour (PSY2010) and Developmental Psychology (PSY2030) is recommended. Students are provided the opportunity to develop reasonable, logical and testable hypotheses about the causes of unique and shared aspects of personality and individual differences, and develop a greater insight into the potential biases, limitations, and contradictions (as well as the strengths and compatibilities) of the major perspectives and approaches taken by theorists and researchers in the field.
