Synopsis

Medical and surgical emergencies account for a significant portion of the cases attended by paramedics. Therefore, Paramedicine Principles 2 will examine neurological conditions, endocrine, metabolic, renal and gastrointestinal conditions. Due to the broad nature of the content, this course will also enhance student's clinical reasoning skills while drawing on their understanding and ability to perform thorough history taking and physical assessments.
