Synopsis

This course recognises key principles and approaches to health care in relation to ethical, legal practices and cultural safety. Students will have the opportunity to identify and examine legal aspects of multidisciplinary health care that impact on individuals and families. The course also illustrates the significance of history on culture and health care and compares this historical perspective to contemporary practice.
