Synopsis

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the fundamentals of brain-behaviour relationships. An introduction to the history of neuropsychology is provided, along with the fundamentals of the functioning of the brain from the cellular level to complex behaviours such as, vision and language, memory and attention, emotion, and executive functions. Additionally, this course will look at various disorders of the brain and illustrate brain-behaviour relationships through a number of case studies.
