Students will be introduced to the human rights and economic principles influencing the design of the NDIS, as well as the broader policy context (i.e. the National Disability Strategy 2010-2020) in which it operates. The course will focus on contemporary approaches to disability service provision and governance, including person-centred planning, supported decision-making, and interfaces with other public sectors and community resources.
