This course is designed to assist you to navigate through the competing and sometimes paradoxical demands of the drivers of business performance. You will learn to balance mechanisms that drive business performance, while simultaneously managing the controls on the organisation that maintain quality standards and align with organisational values. You will learn how to make decisions that drive business performance by considering the influences of governance, risk, ethics, regulatory requirements and corporate social responsibility on performance outcomes such as profitability, cash flow and other financial KPIs. Finally, you will explore how the needs and constraints of the organisation's people, resources and systems need to be considered in the strategies and decisions designed to drive performance outcomes.
