This course provides the student with important music skills that supplement Music Practice courses.

This course provides further practical instruction in the use of the vocabulary and language of contemporary music to create improvised musical artefacts. It further develops knowledge, understanding and aural acuity of pitch, melody and rhythm by applying these skills to improvisation.
