This is the seventh of a suite of eight Practice meets Theory courses that affords pre-service teachers the opportunities to connect to real world teaching contexts that scaffolds their development toward graduate teacher capabilities. In the final year, Practice meets Theory coursework focuses upon the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST) and application of practical teacher knowledge. This course contains a 20-day placement with up to five additional days to collect preliminary data, and is the final Professional Experience before pre-service teachers complete their Internship. The course requires pre-service teachers to gather evidence of the teacher they are becoming and evaluate the impact this has upon their learners as well as justifying their repertoire of teaching practices.

For full details of the professional experience particulars, refer to the Professional Experience website and the Professional Experience Book.
