Supplementary and Deferred Alternate Assessment - Semester 1, 2021

Normally Deferred and Supplementary Examinations (now Alternate Assessment) are held in the next Examination period. In Semester 1 2021, selected courses will pilot an early Deferred and Supplementary Examination period held within 30 business days of results release.

The deferred assessment period for the selected courses will take place between Monday 19 July to Sunday 25 July.

If your Semester 1 enrolled course/s are included in the pilot and you are required to sit for a deferred or supplementary alternate assessment following the Semester 1 Results Release, you will be required to sit during this period. You will be provided with the exact dates for the assessment on your deferred assessment schedule. Your deferred assessment schedule will be available one week prior to the period.

To find out if your course is participating, check the list of courses participating in the early deferred and supplementary pilot in Semester 1, 2021 (PDF 180KB).

For any courses not listed, any deferred or supplementary alternate assessment items will be held as normal, in the Semester 2 Alternate Assessment Period. View the academic calendar and important dates for further information.
