How to apply: Short Term Experience

Check what programs are available across a variety of countries.

Once you’ve identified the program and country for your Study Abroad, check that it meets your UniSQ program needs.

Most course outlines are available on the Study Abroad institution website. If you cannot access these, or they are not available, please contact the Mobility Team.

Download and complete the Study Abroad Short-Term Application Form.

Contact your School to complete Sections 4 and 5 of the Study Abroad Short-Term Application Form. Please provide the course outlines with your application form to be assessed.

Submit your application form and supporting documents to the Mobility Team before your chosen program’s application closing date.

Application dates

Program dates may change each year. 

For programs taking place between June to August: Applications are due 31 March*.

For programs taking place between December to February: Applications are due 31 August*.

*Unless specified otherwise.

Please note that some programs have a minimum number of students required for it to run. The Study Abroad institution will contact you if there are not enough students.

Program costs

Costs are likely to change each year for each Study Abroad program. Information on the UniSQ website is accurate at the time of publishing.

Next steps

The Mobility Team will assess all applications. Upon UniSQ’s approval, you may then be instructed to submit an application directly to your chosen Study Abroad institution.
