Video interviews are an increasingly popular method that graduate recruiters are using to screen applicants. There are generally two types of video interviews that are used:
- live video interviews
- recorded interviews.
Live video interviews
Live video interviews utilise video calling software to connect the employer and candidate.
The more common option in the graduate recruitment sector is a recorded interview where an applicant is asked a pre-recorded question, and is then given a certain time period to record their answer.
If you would like the opportunity to trial a mock video interview before completing the real thing contact the Careers & Employability Team.
