Please ensure that your Degree Name is correct as this will be used on all of your official graduation documents. If you need to make an update, please complete the following steps before the notified deadline for your final semester.
After Results Release in your final semester, if you're made 'eligible to graduate', you’ll receive a 'Congratulations Graduand!' email to your UMail with very important information and deadlines.
If you haven’t received a 'Congratulations Graduand!' email, please contact your Faculty, Open Access College or the Graduate Research School immediately to determine whether you've completed the requirements of your academic program.
After your Congratulations Graduand! email arrives you’ll also receive two emails to your UMail with links to your free digital Official Academic Transcript and free digital Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) including instructions on how to use My eQuals (you may need to allow 48-72 hours for these to arrive).
Whether you're attending a ceremony or not, you must complete the online Graduate Response in your Student Centre before the deadline. The Graduate Response appears soon after you receive the Congratulations Graduand! communication. If you don’t complete the Graduate Response you will be unable to attend a graduation ceremony or receive your testamur by mail. You must also pay the Ceremony Fee before the deadline.

If you've registered for a graduation ceremony and paid the Ceremony Fee you'll be able to book guest tickets for your ceremony. This is usually about 3 weeks prior to your ceremony. The maximum number of guests you can bring depends on the limit for the graduation ceremony you selected.
