Student Tech-torials are free, one hour training sessions in basic computer skills including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ePortfolio. They are just the thing to get your computer skills up to speed.
Each course is offered in person (Toowoomba Campus, S104), or online (via Zoom) from anywhere in the world.
If you are unable to attend a session online or in-person, these sessions will be recorded and made available on Ask USQ.

||If you are new to Word, this is the session for you! After this session you will understand the screen and what the various commands mean. You will learn how to create new documents, how to save them as well as learn how to format text, line spacing and paragraphs.

||If you are new to Excel, then this is the course for you! In this session, you will learn how to create a variety of charts in Excel, to visualise data on your assignments.

||If you are new to PowerPoint, this is the session for you! In this session you will learn how to create a simple PowerPoint presentation. You will learn how to add design features, as well as discovering what makes a good PowerPoint presentation, as well as what to avoid when creating PowerPoints.

||If you are new to ePortfolio - this is the session for you. Learn how to manage your own ePortfolo. In this session, you will learn how to set it up, how to add artefacts and create pages.
