USQ Student Leadership Conference provides you with a unique opportunity to hear from inspirational leaders, network with fellow students and develop your own leadership skills. Attendance at the conference is eligible for Phoenix Award points.
S2 Student Leadership Conference
Taking the first steps can quite often be the hardest part of achieving any goal. At the USQ S2 Student Leadership Conference (Tuesday 1 August) you will hear from inspiring young Australians who have taken their first steps and achieved some amazing goals. They will speak about what it took for them to succeed and provide advice which you can apply to your own journey. The speakers for the conference include James Peterson and Little Tokyo Two.
James Peterson is the CEO and Founder of Breaking Free - an innovative Australian mental health charity that focuses on preventing mental illness, by educating and encouraging people to have mentally healthy lifestyles. Breaking Free’s goal is to provide individuals with the knowledge and tools that will enable them to best look after and monitor their own mental health.
Little Tokyo Two (LT2) is a community focused innovation hub that’s big on collaboration and passionate about helping its members. LT2 is home to entrepreneurs, innovators, creatives and start-ups.
