Grants can be a fantastic source of income and growth for freelancers and consultants – but there’s a trick to applying for them! This session will look at some of the grants available in Australia, and how you could approach your application.

This Zoom series addresses what you need to know about working for yourself as a freelancer or consultant – everything from legal and accounting to marketing and client relations. Each session will end with a Q&A and you are invited to submit your questions, so make sure you come ready to participate!

The series will be hosted by Phoebe Tully, USQ’s Senior Project Coordinator (Entrepreneurship), who has worked as a freelance consultant herself for 10 years. Her background is particularly in copywriting and project management. She will also be joined by industry experts on the topics of accounting and legal. This is an unmissable series for anyone who is looking to freelance, consult or build a portfolio career.
