MHFA training teaches how to approach and assist an adult who may be developing a mental health problem, or experiencing a mental health crisis, using a practical, evidence based, action plan. This course is eligible for Pheonix award points. There are three versions of the course:
- Standard - 12 hours of face-to-face workshop, over 2-days
- Blended/On campus - 6-8 hours of self-paced eLearning followed by 4.5 hour workshop
- Blended/Online - 6-8 hours of self-paced eLearning followed by two, 2.5 hour zoom meetings
