Drawing has never been more popular as an art form in its own right. In this workshop you will explore a wide range of techniques, using new materials, other ways of seeing the world and ways of expressing it.
You will be challenged with altering perspective, combining images and using your own photographs to be manipulated. Develop patterns and take mark making even further. Deb will be looking at how different materials change your approach and compare working from life and photographs.
Life model sessions both unclothed and clothed will form part of the subject matter as well as a visit to the Darling Downs Zoo to draw animals from life and/or urban sketching (weather permitting).
Other guided instruction will look at planning, composition and Notan and you will get a chance to have input into the learning of the whole group.
Black and white has never been more exciting.
Existing drawing skills are needed to get the most out of this workshop.
