USQ Springfield STEAM Discovery Day

Year 7 and 8 students are invited to explore and experience some of the careers built on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics at the STEAM Discovery Day.

Through activities including 3D printing, bridge and tower construction and discovering Australia through Trove, students will expand their horizons and be exposed to some of the careers built on STEAM.

Keynote speaker will be Fulbright Scholar Jake Clark, whose day job is discovering alien planets that no one has ever laid eyes on.

The cost is free for participants and lunch will be provided. Students will supply their own morning tea.

If during the event a student becomes unwell, they should notify an event official who will provide further instruction.
