About the talk
USQ Senior Lecturer (Exercise Physiology), Dr Dean Mills will share the latest research on what to eat when, to ensure you are at your peak for the Ipswich 100 Charity Bike Ride.
About the presenter
Dr Mills is a senior lecturer in exercise physiology and program director of sport and exercise science at the University of Southern Queensland. His doctorate was undertaken in the field of exercise physiology at Nottingham Trent University, UK. Subsequent postdoctoral training was undertaken at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane. His current research examines limitations to exercise tolerance in athletic, healthy and disease populations.
The Ipswich 100 Charity Bike Ride will be held on Sunday 27 March 2022.
The Ride is a project of the Moggill Mt Crosby Lions Club, in association with the Ipswich Hospital Foundation.
All proceeds from the ride are donated to charity.
