Nine day fortnight example
Where operational requirements permit, eligible professional employees in consultation with their supervisor may work a nine-day fortnight arrangement provided that:
- Employees have worked 72 ordinary hours over 9 days. These hours must be worked between the normal span of ordinary hours, ie between 6.00am and 10.00pm; and
- Employees must work an additional 48 minutes per day for 9 days in a normal 10 day (2 week) period. Calculated by 7 hours x 60 minutes = 420 minutes plus an additional 12 minutes per day = 432 minutes / 9 days = 48 minutes per day.
