Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
Our Employee Assistance provider Benestar provides free confidential counselling and resources for employees and their families as well as Individual Wellbeing opportunities.
‘Best You’ by Benestar helps you to be your best through supportive coaching, ‘My Coach’ and the wellbeing hub, ‘BeneHub’ your health and wellbeing portal. In BeneHub you will find relevant materials on different life stages, grieving and loss, physical healthy habits, financial health, relationships, work, family and mental health.

Mental Health First Aid
USQ is committed to the mental health and wellbeing of its people. Providing Mental Health First Aid Training aims to create an outstanding culture of mental health, with its Network of Mental Health First Aid Officers providing support to those in need.

Corporate Health and Wellbeing Program
USQ Health and Wellbeing have identified key health needs and interests of the University and its people and created a tailored health program. The program aims to provide wellbeing opportunities for its people to thrive at work, study and home. The four key elements to the program include:
U-Stretch: self-management strategies in ergonomics, ergonomic practices, stretching and exercises for neck and lower back pain delivered through a face to face presentation, online resources and monthly e-mail subscription.
U-Move: helping you create a physically and mentally healthier version of yourself with movement solutions for sedentary workers and answers to long term success delivered through a face to face presentation, online resources and monthly e-mail subscription.
