ICT provides a wide range of services including network, communications infrastructure and support services.  All systems and services on offer are designed to enhance the way you learn, teach and undertake research at USQ.

Our goal is to increase client satisfaction, systems and service stability and increasingly enable you to access the tools and information you need.  Service and support initiatives that provide flexibility are an integral component of the support culture that ICT continues to implement and promote.

Service Description FAQs
Application Software  This service includes, maintenance and enhancement of existing USQ core systems and standalone software. 
Computing and Mobile Devices This service provides new computer installation, replacement of desktops, disposal of computers, problem diagnosis of USQ computers and information on iPads and tablets.  
Data Centre, Services and File Storage   This service provides staff with a secure hosting facility, provision of individual and collaborative file storage areas H: and J: drives and restoration of data on request. 
Teaching Spaces   This service includes standard software imaging for computer labs and Lecture Theatres and support for permanently installed Audio Visual equipment. 
Telephones  This service includes telephone extension moves and changes, new telephone extensions and billing. 
Email  This service includes provisioning of individual mailboxes, off-campus access via Webmail, management of distribution lists and entries into the global address book. 
ICT Forms  

This service includes Computer Refresh, Administration Rights, Course Migrations, etc.  Log into MYIT, Self Service User, Service Catalogue the ICT forms are easily located. This space is an evolving area for our form storage.

Information Security Management  Information Integrity and Security (II&S) – the methods by which USQ's systems, servers and data are reachable, reliable and recoverable. 
ICT Training  This service provides staff with training on core learning and teaching systems for example SharePoint, ePortfolio, USQStudydesk, and Microsoft Office products. Students can learn about word, PowerPoint, and excel through Student Tech-torials which run each Semester.

SPOT - Online IT Training - Staff can complete self-paced online lessons on arrange of USQ supported software including StudyDesk, ePortfolio, Turnitin, SharePoint and HEAT.
Printing   ICT Services and Ellipsis Media provide support and maintenance for staff and student printers and multi-functional devices. ICT Services assists with the installation of networked printers and MFD's.  

This service assists staff and students with Research computing information and support for High Performance Computing (HPC).

Video Conferencing   Video Conferencing at USQ is the provision of both hardware and software supported video conference facilities across all campuses.
