The Australian Federal Government announced
that fully vaccinated student visa holders would be allowed to travel to Australia from 15th
December 2021. The University of Southern Queensland is pleased to welcome our international students to study on-campus.
Students must be fully vaccinated. Please refer to the TGA website
for current information on Australia’s approved and recognised vaccines.
Pre-Departure Testing Requirement:
Students must present proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test
taken within 72 hours prior to their departure.
Quarantine-free arrival to Queensland will be available after the Queensland vaccination rate reaches 90% (Vaccine Plan
). This is expected in mid-January 2022. Until then, all international students will need to complete 14 days on mandatory quarantine at a government-nominated quarantine facility (international arrivals
