2017 Australian Awards for University Teaching

 

In mid-January 2017 the Federal Government’s Department of Education and Training announced the availability of up to $2,250,000 through the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT). The AAUT are designed to recognise and disseminate the work of individuals, teams, and programs that have made an outstanding contribution to the quality of student learning outcomes. 


The following table provides a summary of the 2017 AAUT program of awards. Information after the table will help you answer the questions:

Initially, to establish whether the work by you (or your team) meets the requirements of the AAUT, please:

How do I (or my team) develop an AAUT application?

All applications for the AAUT program from USQ must fulfil the AAUT requirements and be formally approved by USQ.
USQ has established a process to support and achieve these goals, including providing a mentor to help develop applications.

The following tables summarise the key dates and tasks for applicants. Timelines differ depending on the type of AAUT.
