About the USQ Library

USQ Library connects our University community to information and services to enable learning and research success.

In addition to supporting USQ's stated values, Library Services models additional values through a commitment to being: client-focused and responsive; collaborative and adaptive; and flexible and innovative.

The Library is part of the Academic Services Division, under the leadership of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Scholarly Information and Learning Services), Professor Helen Partridge.  Key staff within the Library include:

USQ Library has three campus libraries at Toowoomba, Springfield and Ipswich.  At each library you will find:

  • study spaces
  • collections of resources
  • equipment for use in the library
  • equipment for loan

USQ Library also provides specialist Online/External student services, including:

  • online collections of resources (ebooks, e-journals)
  • scanning, copying and posting items to you*
  • assignment and research assistance via phone, chat, email, and Ask USQ (24/7)
