Request items (Online/Distance students)
Online/distance students and staff can place requests for loan items from USQ libraries to be posted to them or sections of books and journal articles scanned and delivered via email.
This is done via USQ Library's Online/Distance loan and photocopy request service (DocEx). Please refer to the Online/Distance students services page for more details.
Request items which are currently on loan to another student (On-campus students & staff)
If an item is on loan to another person you can place a request for that item via the Library Catalogue. You will be emailed when the item is returned and is available for collection from the Library.
Request items from another USQ Campus Library (On-campus students & staff)
USQ Students and staff can request loans from other USQ campus libraries via the Library Catalogue. Staff and students at Springfield and Ipswich campuses can also request scans of items held in the Toowoomba print collection such as journal articles or book sections via the Online/Distance loan and photocopy request service (DocEx) (see Using DocEx for assistance).
Request items from another library or organisation
The Library can obtain loan of books and copies of articles and other documents not held by the USQ Library via the Interlibrary Loan Service.
Request purchase of new items not held by USQ Library
Students and staff can make a purchase suggestion for items the Library doesn’t hold which may be a useful addition to the collection.
