Services for Online/Distance students

We provide special services and support you if you are enrolled in either online or external study modes, within Australia and overseas.

Specialised staff are available to help Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm AEST. Outside of these hours, help is available via phone or email whenever the Toowoomba Library is open.

FREE Scanning/Copying service

We can scan up to 10% (or one chapter) from print resources held by USQ Library for you.

FREE Posting items to you (within Australia)

 How to request Via the online request service (DocEx) or contact the Library’s Off-Campus Services.
 Delivery All loan items are sent via Australia Post and must be signed for when received. If no-one is home, a parcel pick-up card will be left.

About 2 working days plus postage time, but we will email you if there are any delays.


USQ Library has a fines system for overdue, lost and damaged material.

We post out requested Library material for no charge and you pay the cost to return borrowed items. However as part of your Student Services and Amenities Fee in 2017, all online students are eligible for 10 pre-paid return postage bags per semester. A return postage bag will be included in your parcels of requested Library items.

Web form requesting help and advice

We will respond to your web form query by email and turnaround time is approximately one week.

Undergraduate students will be emailed some suggested references. Postgraduate students will receive advice about possible search strategies and recommended databases.
