Online Library Support

We’re planning to reopen our campus libraries for Semester 2. Until then our services and collections remain available online. Thanks for your patience as we prepare our libraries to be COVID safe.

Ask us

We’re available via phone, chat and email to help you with your information needs.

Find your textbook

To find course textbooks, use the dropdown menu on Library Search to narrow your results to Course Texts. Search by course code or book titles.

Request a copy

Students and staff can request a digitised copy of a chapter or section from our physical collection items (books or journal articles). We will scan and send you the section that you need within two business days. Copyright limits apply to scanned copies. We will let you know if we cannot process your request.

Students - request a scanned copy via Library Search.
Staff - use the Interlibrary Loan form to request a scanned copy. Please tell us if your request is from the UniSQ collection by adding a note in the Comments box.

Online Study Support

Join a group study support session Tuesdays 6-7pm and Wednesdays 4-5pm with a Librarian and Learning Advisor. Each session will start with 15 minutes about a study support topic followed by 45 minutes dedicated to you questions on any library or study topic.

Online Drop-in Sessions

Bring your questions along on any library or study topic to one of our online drop-in sessions and chat to a Librarian, Learning Advisor, or Learning Advisor (Maths). Sessions run Mondays 2-3pm, Thursdays 11-12pm and Fridays 9:30-10:30am. Online Maths drop-in sessions run Wednesdays 12-1pm.

Meet-Up

An experienced student leader is available on the student community forum or via Zoom each weekday from 12noon to 2pm. They are available to assist you with your study questions, and to share conversation. Join the zoom session to chat, or access the Meet-Up Student Community forum.

Meet-Up may also be available within your course for more specialised help. Check your StudyDesk for more details.

Consultations

Consultations are still available online or over the phone with a Librarian, Learning Advisor, Learning Advisor (Maths) or Senior Research Librarian (Higher Degree Research students only). Book a consultation for yourself or a small group (up to six people).

Other Study Support Events

Other Study Support events are also available online, such as referencing sessions, online Makerspace meetup and more. Check the Library events calendar for session times and upcoming events.
