Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)

What is PASS?

PASS is a free program that offers structured and fun group study sessions for courses that students find particularly challenging. A PASS session is interactive with plenty of discussion and engaging activities.

PASS sessions commence in week two and run all semester. Each session runs for one hour.

A PASS leader, who is a current USQ student, facilitates the session. PASS leaders have previously achieved high results in the course and completed a nationally accredited training program.

Benefits of PASS

Participating in PASS helps you:

  • develop closer relationship with other students
  • understand course content more deeply
  • break down complex ideas
  • learn not just 'what to learn' but 'how to learn'
  • work better as a team
  • save time with smarter study methods.
