USQ representatives with international delegates
USQ representatives welcomed scholarship agency directors from South America, Asia and the Middle East to USQ Toowoomba.
USQ’s reputation as an educational leader was showcased during an international delegation visit this week.

Organised by Trade and Investment Queensland, USQ welcomed scholarship agency directors from South America, Asia and the Middle East to USQ Toowoomba.

USQ International and Development Executive Director Professor Talal Yusaf said the University was committed to building strong relationships with international partners.

“USQ has a regional, national and international footprint,” Professor Yusaf said.

“We have students and staff from around the world and our research has an international profile and impact.

“These type of events are important to continue to showcase the wonderful work we are doing here at USQ and expand our reach into international markets.”

International delegates from Brazil, Columbia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Paraguay, Peru, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates met with academic representatives from USQ’s Faculty of Business, Education, Law and Arts (BELA) and Faculty of Health, Engineering and Science (HES).

Through USQ International, the University regularly hosts overseas visitors to discuss potential, ongoing and future collaboration opportunities.
