Open Day to show how future students can Become More with USQ

USQ Springfield will open its doors to the community for Open Day this Saturday

Learn how to Become More with your local university when USQ Springfield open its doors to the wider community on Saturday.

USQ Vice-Chancellor Professor Geraldine Mackenzie said Open Day would give prospective students and their families the chance to see real-life careers in action, explore the campus’ world-class facilities, meet academics and be inspired by interactive demonstrations.

“Whether you want to explore the wonders of the universe, take off of a new career flightpath or create structures that will stand the test of time, visit us and learn how we can help you take the next step to achieving your goals,” Professor Mackenzie said.

“Our Open Days are a great chance to see what it is like to be a student at USQ. You can chat with our friendly support team, tour the campus and discover all there is to know about studying with USQ – the number one university for graduate starting salary in Australia*.”

This year’s Open Day will feature live entertainment, virtual reality simulations, drone workshops and information sessions about the many areas of study, including Aviation, Engineering, Business, Education, Law and more.

Attendees can experience what it’s like to fly an air force fighter jet, take part in a live television and radio broadcast or get creative in the Makerspace.
