USQ’s pathway programs can be an entry point into your chosen university degree.

If it’s been some time since you studied, you haven’t completed high school, or your goals have changed; our pathway programs get you your place at university.  Your pathway to university is tailored to your skills, experience and the degree you want to study.

Your pathway, your choice

The following two programs provide entry into most of USQ’s undergraduate degrees.

USQ’s Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP) is a free program where you develop skills you need to successfully complete a university degree. Depending on your prior experience, you could complete a fast-tracked TPP program.

Our Diploma of University Studies is a formal university qualification and provides a quality foundation for tertiary study to set you up for university success. You can choose one of eight specialisations which allows you to sample study areas you are interested in. Once successfully completed you can graduate with a degree qualification or, provided you meet all the entry requirements, you can transfer directly into a USQ undergraduate degree.

  2. Study one of our USQ/TAFE 'dual award' programs where you will start with a TAFE qualification and once completed, seamlessly transfer, with your TAFE prior learning, to a USQ degree.

You can also start study with USQ via a pathway program.
