Making a complaint about breach of privacy

A privacy complaint can be made by an individual about an act or practice of the University in relation to the individual’s personal information that is a breach of the University’s obligation under the Information Privacy Act 2009 to comply with the privacy principles.

If you believe that the University or one of its employees has breached your privacy when handling your personal information, you are entitled to make a privacy complaint.

Before lodging a privacy complaint, you are encouraged to contact the Privacy Officer or the Right to Information Coordinators to discuss your concerns.
