The Influence of Psychological Capital on Stress and Coping Across the Individualistic/Collectivistic Orientations: A Structural Equation Modeling Approach
15 NOV 2021
2.00 PM - 3.30 PM

The aim of the current research is to investigate the inHuence of psychological capital on the process of stress and coping for two groups representing the culture/value orientations of individualism and collectivism. This research will help to explain the mechanisms through which psychological capital-the operationalisation of positivity-influences organisational stress and coping and how this resource may be used in future stress research/interventions. This research will use a structural equation modeling approach to establish models of psychological capital's influence on stress and coping for the individualistic and collectivistic groups, and will compare these models to investigate potential cross-cultural differences in the stress and coping process.
