Undeniably bullying is a serious issue, with over 2.3 million students reporting bullying in Australia every year. With limited training, teachers are at a loss for how to deal with bullying in their schools. Mentoring goes beyond the sphere of traditional professional development and is a collaborative relationship fostering growth through reflection. In a relationship built on trust and mutual respect, the mentor shares their expertise and experience to help the mentee develop their understanding and build their confidence. The purpose of the study is to discover if teachers find the process of being mentored beneficial in helping them to effectively manage issues of bullying.
