Understanding Sexual Regret in First Time Sexual Encounters in Emerging Adults
When
30 MAY 2022
1.00 PM - 2.30 PM
Where
Online via Zoom

Little is understood about sexual regret amongst emerging adults within empirical literature and popular culture. While studies in this area exist, definitions of sexual regret are inconsistent in regard to contextual, temporal, relational (interpersonal), and gender experiences. With sex regret potentially impacting negatively on relationships and an individual's mental health, more needs to be understood in this area. This doctoral program of studies aims to add to this area of research with a view to inform sexual education, and relationship skills development towards enhancing mental health outcomes for emerging adults.
