In semester 3 2017, the University of Southern Queensland will offer twenty-five bursaries to domestic alumni.
The bursary supports USQ Domestic alumni considering study for a career change or to upskill.
You must be intending to begin study in semester 3 2017.
The bursary will have a maximum value of $400.
To be eligible applicants must:
- be a USQ alumnus
- be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
- meet all the entry requirements for their chosen course
- be enrolled in a USQ course for professional development
- commence their studies in semester 3 2017
- be studying on-campus, external or online
- be enrolled in a minimum of one study unit
Applicants must:
- submit a short personal statement of 50 to 100 words outlining:
- a description of your educational aims and goals
- a description of your aspirations and career goals for the future
- complete the student application form for admission.
Students commencing study in Semester 1 2019 must complete the 2019 Scholarship Application Form - Commencing USQ Students (PDF*200KB).

Applications can also be delivered to Social Justice, Equity and Inclusion, formerly known as Student Services, at our Springfield or Ipswich campuses.
Applications will be accepted if posted on the due date (must be date stamped by Australia Post).

If you are lodging multiple applications, you must complete separate application forms, each with a set of supporting documents. The Scholarships Office does not copy supporting documents. Multiple applications may be posted/delivered in the same envelope as long as they are stapled separately.
