This research will focus on the development of ultrasensitive micro/nano sensors that can be utilised for a wide range of applications including smart appliances, smart cities, automobile, etc.
The successful candidate will be mentored by world-class researchers to build up competitive track records for future careers. This research funded by Australian Research Council (ARC) will provide the student with opportunity to collaborate with various partner organisations, including NASA JPL and Griffith University.
ARC PhD Stipend Research Scholarship
- Stipend (living allowance), valued at $32,000 per annum, tax free.
- Successful international applicants will receive tuition fees for a period of 6 semesters, full-time equivalent, paid by the USQ.
- The maximum period of the award is three years. Periods of study already undertaken towards the program will be deducted from the period of tenure
To be eligible applicants must:
- a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours or Second Class Honours (Division A) at an Australian University, or equivalent level;
- be eligible to be enrolled full-time on-campus in the PhD program at USQ;
- be an international student, or an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident;
