CSIRO is currently offering top-up postgraduate scholarships for students enrolled at an Australian University and holding a Research Training Program (RTP) scholarship or university equivalent, commencing in early 2020. These scholarships are for PhD projects aligned with the CSIRO’s priority research areas. The students’ research will be co-supervised by CSIRO and university researchers.
Scholarships will be offered to high achieving students who are enrolled in a PhD program at an Australian university.
Recipients of postgraduate scholarships are generally required to be Australian Citizens or hold Permanent Residency status. However, in fields in which there is a national skill shortage, scholarships may be awarded to overseas candidates, provided they meet Department of Immigration and Citizenship policy guidelines. International students must be able to provide evidence of admission to an Australian university.
